A group of friends graduated from SP College, 1990-Science batch. Graduated...earned position in society...quite happy with cheerful family, busy, progressing carrier. Few dreams fulfilled and restless for more…

regathered at the Main Building of SP College. Everybody was pondering on the same thought. Sharing same feeling and same urge. An urge to rise from our daily routine and make way for compassion and help the needy and destitute in the society.

And “Maitrak” emerged. Initially, we strived hard to manage new tasks but all of us stand by our words. Over the period of time, enthusiasm plated with maturity and rush of blood transformed into passion. Now, It’s not challenging and daunting, rather we started living in dreams. Our reward comes when we see sparkle in the eyes of needy, which gives us enormous energy and dream to conquer another milestone of humanity. While helping others, we are living the sacred moments that we cherished for.

WHAT WE DO

Our efforts primarily focuses on helping the less-privileged sections of the society. We do so in the spirit of humanity and devotion and dedication towards society. Our vision can be achieved by supporting various projects that will promote awareness, education and nurturing the needy. In our programmes, along with direct aid, we encourage inspirational retreats to needy and poor. We do believe that building and empowering hope is real support for challenged. Our intentions are directed to nourish love and confidence in the life of orphanage and destitute.

Be a Part of Something Bigger

We are committed to undertake few projects every year at various locations. We appeal you to sponsor some of our projects.

  • Providing school bags, uniforms for 250 children
  • Art contests and Reward programmes (Providing art material, gifts and trophies and awards)
  • Providing aid for destitute children (Sponsoring Educational fees)
  • Renovation for orphans' asylum, poor and needy (Building toilets, repairing water supply)
  • Distribution of necessities for Physically Challenged (Providing Artificial limbs, wheel chairs and medical aids)
  • Distribution of necessities for Mentally Challenged (Providing Entertaining and Educational equipments)
